Many of my photographs are surrealistic. It allows me to explore what is before me without being bound by the “rules” of documentary photography. Through surrealism, I can express unconventional visions and find unique beauty and ideas in commonplace surroundings and activities. In addition, the viewer is not bound by the expectation that I am adhering to reality.
My photographs have been exhibited recently in several locations including the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts. They were selected in a juried competition for display at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre and through a juried selection in Clearwater, Florida at the Star Spangled Enamored Art Exhibit and at the Tampa Regional Artists Bay Area Art Show. In addition, my images have been exhibited at the Grapevine Art Dealers "Taste of Art" Gallery Night in Texas and in art shows in Florida. Many of my photographs are currently on display at the Holder Dane Gallery in Grapevine, Texas.
On May 11, 2018, I will be receiving an award for my photography from the Tampa Regional Artists at the reception for their 11th Annual Bay Area Art Show.
